You can still play the game as you've been. You've been given a game that has gotten updates for free for years. Stop your belly-aching just because some update doesn't cater 100% to your potato of a rig.

I doubt I can run it either, but who cares? I'll enjoy it when I get the parts that are capable.

yeah cool, but can it run faster? can you please fix the engine so it runs faster? I know it's a lot to ask, but it can barely even run on my mid-range pc on standard, and it doesn't look that great on standard.

This game runs like garbage, and i'd like to remind everyone that free updates ARE STANDARD and expected if the game was like it was in 2016.

Good update, though I have to say that this clearly admits that No Man Sky has been held back significantly by old console hardware - while perhaps obvious, I'm still surprised at this admission.

How is that an admission? Every single game that's on PC and console is held back by the consoles limitations... That isn't some crazy revelation, it's obvious fact since ever....

That includes the upcoming Valhalla, CyberPunk, etc... They're held back just as much by the consoles. It is what it is.

Not really. I mean this game looks terrible like a game at least 10+ years old yet it needs quite a PC.
