"Free" i feel would be saying a little to much. This idea that the developer is doing things for free is kind of misleading when you think about the fact that this game sold something like 800,000 incomplete copies of this game in 2016 thats probly something like a quarter million dollars. that doesnt include years after and people who picked up on it later. And we know with updates like beyond sales go up every single major update.

They dont really share the statistics of how much the game has costed in development or made on all platforms. Consoles are another story. But to be honest, this game has made more money than anyone could fathom and i think you should keep that in mind while you prop them up to be some kindof saint thats doing things just to make ya happy because the margins would blow you away if you only knew the kind of killing this game has made.

they way i look at it, does this game deserve the money its made? I don't personally think its there yet. that means that to me, its just paying back a debt.

Your literally just rehashing the same thing at least one person has said out of 16 pages worth of posts and about 50 other different posts... theyre trying, again they could cut and run and leave us with what we got... theyre not, devs... kudos for not abandoning ship... the good ones appreciate it... dont abandon us because there is a lot of people angry and at times very ungrateful.

i do because everybody keeps dodging the facts and saying that they could do this or that when i think thats wrong and they really cant. if they felt they could they would. this is a bussiness. maybey after everything they have done now you could say ok this was worth it. but if they jumped ship early would you buy the next game?

the most funny thing is that everything is related to the number 16 .... the game is talking about the number 16, the last update was on December 16 ... and on December 16 I also have a birthday ... everything revolves around 16, heh

gentlemen, everything is great, but could you add more races? to automate the extraction of raw materials and automate the production of components? (factorio / satisfactory ;) ) add more vehicles? enable building your own ships etc? the game is great but after all this "every ... procedural" after some time the game becomes boring

and one important thing - please improve the topic about powering the base - increase the range of the base or add the possibility of connecting bases so that you can send electricity or raw material over long distances

Nothing wrong with enjoying something or being grateful devs stuck with a game. Plenty of devs have closed down games for less and I am happy this game decided to move forward rather than give up especially because its a cool concept.

People look at this as a stupid addon, or very simple... complain about bugs not getting fixed, things are getting fixed with this... I like the concept because its another creative way to see what the community can come up with. Hell mario paint had a simple music maker in that and the stuff people have come up with is nuts! Even carried over into mario maker... For those looking at this as a stupid addon... just wait and see what the community will come up with, itll be wicked.

Any addition that allows for creativity is a good addition. Of course that doesn't change the fact that there are problems but those will get fixed in time. Getting something new to enjoy is always fun. I just hope one day people can move past the games bad launch and can focus on the game getting cool new features to make it even better (like maybe my habitat idea).

yea the downside is... well take the fez example... guy didnt like the way the community was acting so he gave up... hell took himself off social media, people keep trashing the game despite logging hundreds of hours worth and getting their moneys worth 10x over, they may just cut and run, people be happy with the updates and just keep hoping itll get fixed for whatever bug they got beef with enough to call the game "broken"

I think he kinda lost his mind, several circumstances, then social media crap... the worlds kinda gone to a darker uglier place on the internet to the point you cant have an opinion without someone calling you an idiot for it, i kinda get he snapped and removed himself entirely... frankly im not incline to snap and remove myself from social media and all that but day by day it looks like the better option... hell almost at the point where i feel the world would be better off if trolls actually went and lived under bridges and didnt bother anyone lol... but i digress. The kinda one track mind that lead sick people like gengis khan and hitler to doing some pretty sick things are now all over the internet (thank god not rising to power like they did) but their mindset was pretty much... you dont feel how i feel you should die... the line isnt that thick anymore, and some of these people actually start to agree with those evil people from the past because again... easier to hide behind a monitor and show your true colors... or be so desenitized that people think their being edgy or cool or whatever stupidity drives their inhumanity...

Then you point that stuff out and a whole line up of people are ready to say how your wrong and go die again and your just some kid and blah blah ignoring they are doing exactly all those things that those evil people in the past have done because it doesnt matter if theyre doing it, they disagree because they dont want that association and it just turns into a back and forth flame war

I think I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ of this feature ! I mean, it's an exploration game ! Bring more life to the universe, by making more interactions between aliens, cities, more believable alien work place, because I feel like I'm the only one doing smtg in this universe the rest of the npc just flying around with no goals ! Adding a synth software inside your game is just ... nah !
