Basically, everybody had some sort of tech base BEFORE the First Gek went out to conquer everything.
The Korvax still revere the Atlas, and see the Sentinels as the hands/shepherds of Atlas. They never really NEEDED much in the way of weaponry, as... well, what's going to eat them. They don't consume resources in the same manner as organic life, so are not really competitors for anything but information and energy. After the enslavement... well, let's just say that they aren't going to forget the lesson learned.
Vy'keen... aren't going to really trust the Gek. Ever. (Never forgetting the past) They don't really get the Korvax either. Atlas... may have answered a couple historical figures in Vy'keen history, leading to a few unfortunate event chains.
Meanwhile, they keep the knives (and other implements) nicely sharpened for when the time comes.
Modern Gek got their directives from the Korvax tampering. There's still the great drives from the First days, but it's redirected into trade and connections. Part of the alteration involves reverence for Atlas. I can't imagine that the Sentinels get the same universal love, though.
I see, so pretty much after everything that happened with the First Spawn, the 3 factions are more or less on somewhat....neutral terms with one another? At least regarding the Vy'keen and Gek?
I would imagine though after the whole thing of enslavement and losing their homeworld, The Korvax would have at least some defense measures in place. Then again, they do have combat frigates/ships, so I suppose that is something. Along with the Multitool.
...Oh one other question regarding the whole relationship between the Korvax and Sentinels. Do they revere the Sentinels to the point where no matter how hostile the Sentinels are(like on some planets, they just straight up attack whoever lands) that they don't take action against them?
Or is it more, they see them also a potential threat that might have to be dealt with? Seeing as they do control some systems where planets there can be hostile Sentinels. I realize that Korvax aren't exactly geared towards war unlike the Vy'keen, but their technology base should still be pretty good.
Thanks though for the info, learned a lot!
