Does this game has a open world PVP?

PvP is optional. You can turn it off in your network settings then no one can hurt you. Turn it on and you can have battles with other players. There us no built in reward system for PvP, basically it's just for fun if you want it.

And it's not much fun. It's not a PvP game at all. The only players who get any fun out of it are griefers who take advantage of the fact that the default starting network settings allow them to torment newbies who're not yet aware they can turn PvP off.

If you are interested in PVP, I have seen occasional posts from players who were going to set up in one system or another. Search the discussion board or Reddit.

I doubt they are very stable since the game combat is way too easy and players would be on the honor system about not modding their ship, suit, and tools..and keeping damage on. Given what I know about players, it is not really an honorable world out there so I am guessing the fun peters out pretty fast.

There's actually at least one group of reasonably active PVP players out there. They build bases specifically to do battle in. Pretty sure they have a discord too. I saw someone cover it a few months back on youtube.

That said, it requires a very specific mindset. If you want a solid PVP game, this isn't it.
