exosuit armor from quicksilver station

There are several pieces of armor for the exosuit available to purchase at the quicksilver station on the Anomaly.
The descriptions are... nondescript about it.
Do these items impart any benefit in terms of protection?

I'm not sure, but I don't think Quicksilver purchases offer any functional benefit. It's cosmetic only. I believe that your Quicksilver purchases will unlock different armor pieces in the Appearance Modifier.

Outside of the bobble heads, you can assume anything you buy with QS is just cosmetic. Even the bobble heads are questionable if it is worth losing a slot for the minor improvement they provide. They are cute so giving them a pass.
