NMS multiple deaths how to recover inventory

Just landed on a new planet, got attacked as soon as i left ship, had also landed next to hazardous plants. so died multiple times before rescuing myself. problem is when I return to grave site 90% of my inventory is lost. previous restore has not recovered inventory. How can i go back to an earlier save before landing on the new planet?

If you die twice in a row before you recover your grave...it is gone for good. You will need to check your saves...every time you get in and out it resets. It is possible to forget that in the excitement, and I have had just current saves as my only choices.
