Anyone find any REALLY hot or cold planets?
I see all these screenshots of 300 degree planets or 30 rad storms, but this video shows two planets with temperatures more extreme than any we have seen in the game. Since the algorithms have not changed, just the seed, has anybody seen any planets that hot/cold?

Was on a planet that had heat and cold storms

On a planet that has -90 during a severe storm which appears every 5 minutes or so and the hottest I've found was around +70. Those temps in the vid really are extreme. I couldn't even imagine what it feels like in that environment for the few seconds that I'd still be alive when encountering (In real life!).

The coldest I've found was about -220 during the day, and -290 at night, and the hottest I've seen is only around 135

Funny how all the storms are removed once you lift off. Had -60 and +160. They both had volitile sentinals. Wonder if the extreme temps have ill effects on their electronics.

This game really has no "extreme" weather or other conditions. The whole range of element shields are useless

Cant have colder than -273 degrees as thats absolute zero, be surprised if they didnt add that to the games mechanics

Yes you do, but with the element shields you last longer out exploring, plus you can recharge the element shields whereas you cant on your own shield

Ehh ofc you can recharge your shield. And that is why element shields are useless

Yea, sorry, what im meaning is when you use the element shields you can last longer on a single charge, like the jetpack upgrade or the sprint, so they do work

Well yes they work but are totally useless because your own shield lasts long enough and is "free" to recharge

The point is that you can craft something to take space in your suit inventory just so you dont have to recharge your shield every 5minutes but every 7minutes? i guess that makes it really really handy
