Anyone understand the codes yet ?

Some places you find these computer looking things that gives you 3 numbers, then you have to pick the fourth number, Example

5564.6455,5456, Then you have to choose a similar number to gain cordinates to some ancient alien stuff. its like one of those math things, "What number is next in line" and i really suck at that :P Math in general really

Anyone understand these kinda number thingies ?

the ones I've found so far have just been shifting the numbers to the left or right, it's not really a math problem you just gotta tell how they are changing

I had one that had a sequential multiplication sequence - 1, 2, 6, 24, 120, 720 (720 being the answer)

I had a basic one 1212 -2121 - 1212

the sequence is progressing... so 1234, 2341, 3412 so last is 4123. another one, same principle 5683, 6835, 8356, 3568. see the way the numers just move one position forward?
