Is it true there are multi-tools with larger slots than 24 slots? Without mod of course.
Thanks for that. So i should just continue doing missions and maybe it will eventually pop out and also check the tech trader from time to time. Of course, considering how buggy the game is, there is a part of me that fears that I may never get the blueprint due to something I or the game did.
When put in the center of other scanner/analyzer parts/upgrades along with the +2 analyzer, you will make $150K-$300K+ per creature scanned. As discussed in other topics, how many sides are touching the techs affects the bonus received, so the +3 needs to go in the center of all of the other similar techs to get the maximum effect.
Fully understanding that there are faster methods to make money in this game (farming and trade runs), a planet I landed on last night with only 9 out of 11 species discovered (so no completion bonus on upload) netted me over 2 million credits... that was pretty nice considering that I was constantly teetering between 400K and 1.2 million credits, then to all of a sudden be at almost 3 mil made affording ships and certain upgrades seem reasonable.
Personally, I've had wasted over 3 hours on some planets trying to find all species during day and night cycles, and it's such a hit or miss that I don't see the point in doing so anymore... Just scan the first few creatures you can reasonably get to in 10-15 minutes, then just move on. The upload bonus is not worth time it takes to try to find every critter, especially since you just need to scan another "rare" creature on some other planet to get as much as that bonus, without wasting 3-4 hours (and likely still failing Q_Q).
Considering that the exploration is my favorite part of this game, it's great how that is now a viable "career" option. :)
Note: I am 50 hours into the game at this point, and I did not see this blueprint for a while, nor could I have gotten it due to the reputation requirements, and I've been hoarding rep items for all races... I can't pass those dang green crates without opening them.
Don't rely on your current Korvax system to change what it offers. Try and visit different Korvax systems to get a better variety of tech you can buy.
I saw this tip that seemed to work for me: If having trouble finding the last animals, take off, go into space, and then reenter the same planet again. I searched for several hours to find the last 2 animals - and did the jump into space, return to planet trip - and found the remaining two animals within maybe the next 15 minutes. I probably travelled a distance around the planet in the process (I think I was going to a portal), but I wonder if the reentry process causes a respawn?
This is definitely a bug. I've come to the conclusion that maybe some creatures don't actually spawn.
This is an old trick to "force" a respawn of the animals.
Not a bug but this is how NMS works.
Success
Weirdly, I've also noticed that I can do a form of grenade attack with Mouse 3 (wheel button) even without any grenade mod attached. Update: I was able to fire 6 grenades even though I had removed every grenade BP from my multi-tool.
