Best Base Planet Type
I initially liked radiation, then I liked the super hot one.
Then I found a "perfect" one but the rain storms are brutal.

A video I watched recommended toxic because you can grow lots of the toxic plants outside without having to use isotopes to charge planters and the toxic plantsare one of the major ingredients for one of the items you can make that sell for 1M+.

Oh really now?

That sounds quite wonderful I think.

So, if I want to move my base, what's the best method to go about doing this?

Find a planet you want to call home and claim a base. Your previous base will be demolished and the materials will be placed in a box next to the base vendor.

i put my base on a paradise world. wouldn't want my home to be on a hazardous planet.

I just stumbled on a lush moon.

The most interesing part about it is, the system was found by someone named Nyo, they also explored one of the five planets then left the system.

This is the first time I have had any type of intereaction with anyone in the game.
Usually, I find the system and explore the planets contained within, refreshing to know some one was here before me.

First, consider the system it's in. Five planets and moons would be nice. What race owns it? If your tired of V'Keen abuse.... I portaled to a system with "critical conflict" - that doesn't sound good unless your way into space battles.
Then, the planet. I don't think there are bases on empty or barren planets. Unless they fixed a bunch of things, water planets are buggy for quests. There is a type of terreain I want to call "ropey' with greeat rock ropes snaking around it - hard to fly- no driving. {I have a base on a water, ropey, planet - will be glad to leave]. And it's nice to not expend rescources just to survive outside and not have to wait for storms.

I was lucky enough to spawn into a system with a Paradise Moon. The only thing I have to recharge is my life support from too much sprinting. But I like the idea of moving to a toxic planet down the road based on the comments above!

If you are on a lush planet then that makes crafting circuit boards easier, Star bulbs are the most needed plant for those.

I suppose there's probably good trade goods for every planet type, I just know that toxic is best for making explosives and lush for circuit boards.

my home planet has those star plants all over. it's a paradise planet, but i've found 2 flourishing planets that also have a lot of them.

My base planet is bountiful and they also have star bulbs.
