That sounds quite wonderful I think.
So, if I want to move my base, what's the best method to go about doing this?
Find a planet you want to call home and claim a base. Your previous base will be demolished and the materials will be placed in a box next to the base vendor.
The most interesing part about it is, the system was found by someone named Nyo, they also explored one of the five planets then left the system.
This is the first time I have had any type of intereaction with anyone in the game.
Usually, I find the system and explore the planets contained within, refreshing to know some one was here before me.
Then, the planet. I don't think there are bases on empty or barren planets. Unless they fixed a bunch of things, water planets are buggy for quests. There is a type of terreain I want to call "ropey' with greeat rock ropes snaking around it - hard to fly- no driving. {I have a base on a water, ropey, planet - will be glad to leave]. And it's nice to not expend rescources just to survive outside and not have to wait for storms.
If you are on a lush planet then that makes crafting circuit boards easier, Star bulbs are the most needed plant for those.
I suppose there's probably good trade goods for every planet type, I just know that toxic is best for making explosives and lush for circuit boards.
think mine has everything except the cactus
