help with gamma weed??? how to get it

Ya I need help with getting Gamma Weed For the farming quest line... What am I looking for and What kinda planet is it on?

it will show up when you scan the planets from space. the plant looks like a little 3 stalked weed.

Gamma something. so if you see gamma root in a planet scan information, that would be it.

thinking its on either radioactive planets or toxic planets

Its radioactive planets, it tells you from space whether the plnet has it and scans show up as the ingot icon on your hud same as all the other biome specific plants.

Also, I think you need the hazmat gauntlets to pick it, but if you're doing the farming quests you should already have them.
They're the first thing you get from the armourer.

Thanks for the help guys... the farming is done now, just looking for the pearl now :D

An ablumen pearl? Those can be hard to find. Before 1.3 I spent a lot of time trying to find 3 to make a plant.

Keep in mind that as soon as you take it, sentinals will immediatly become hostile.

I know this... I have a feeling this is going to be a pain.

It helps a lot if you've got a multitool with some damage mods. The grenade addon is a big help for the 4 legged ones and pretty much necessary for the big biped sentinals if you keep aggro that long.

Got stupid lucky picked up a 24 slot weapon within five hours and a few hours more picked up a 37 slot ship...
