I'd be interested in hearing experience of other PC players. Is my game bugged or the game in general?
I've built a 9x9 cuboid room but then realized it was too big for my needs. My command center is a much smaller 5x5 (or is it 5x4) cuboid room. I've placed all my terminals in this "room"
You just need to make sure that your cursor is on the green highlighted arrow when you place it, the boxes should then connect properly.
I find it easier to place one box, add a door, and then expand the room from the inside.
As mentioned previously in this thread, cuboid rooms have to be matched by the green arrows before placing them out. If you just randomly place cubes next to each other they won't connect. One way to do this is by building from inside out.
(1) create one cuboid, and make a door on one of the walls
(2) enter the cuboid
(3) select a new cuboid from the menu when you are inside the first cuboid. You will see connecting dots on each wall of your cuboid: these are places where you can place your new (second) cuboid. Some dots are red and one dot might be green.
(4) move the cursor so that one dot becomes green (point your cursor to the wall where you want your second cuboid to be). build the second cuboid and then repeat to your heart's desire expanding the room.
Remember, to get a big room made out of cuboids, at least I find it easier to build from the inside (and then expanding outward).
