Switch ship - what i need to do?
I just found a crashed ship, which is kinda way better than my actual one.
So i wanted to switch it, but saw, that i got no ressources to repar it.
But there was a new option, like "buy (0 credits)" [sry, playing it not in english, so i can't say what the option says originally]. So i "bnought" it.
The game also tells me, i can switch my primary ship, depending on whioch i enter at this time.
But after leaving it on the planet crashed i can't find it again to repair.
As i still bought it, is there another way to find it or switch to it?
PS: do i need a freighter maybe? Cause i still got none ....

When you "buy" a crashed ship, you need to repair it right there. You can usually find those resources scattered around much like you did for yours in the tutorial.

To switch back and forth between ships, open your menu (x button for PC) which opens up the quick menu at the bottom of your screen. Go to Summon Vehicles->Other Vehicles You'll see your other ship there, and then summon it where you want and switch to it. (I don't know if this works for non repaired ships you bought)

Note: You can't summon a new one if your current one has no fuel to launch off. Summoning it will use launch fuel it currently has.

You don't need a freighter to own multiple ships.

Wow Nice ... never used this menu at all ^^
Sadly, the ship does not react. I can select it, but F is greyed out.
Is there a way to find it again? I mean except of flying around with no plan ;) I placed a mark on it (with E) as i left it, but after a while the waypoint was gone and i just know, which planet it is on, but not, where exactly it is

PS: ofc i saw way too late, that there are visible coordinates in scanner-mode

I had a similar issue. I had given up on the missing ship entirely, found another lost ship, piloted that one for some time (there were multiple game shutdowns) and eventually I decided to try calling down the damaged ship from before and the game let me.
so you just have to wait until the game forgets the ship is broken, then you can call it ONCE while it is damaged, so make that time count and put it somewhere you can find again

Is there a blip on your radar? Should be. Fly toward it.

My experience that tha a ship is not callable without a freighter. But maybe that changed.

As far as fixing it. There is only a couple slaots tthat you need to worry about at frist. Just make sure the pulse drive and thrusters are fixed. As stated earlier those are relatively easy fixes on the spot.

Currently, spacecraft is managed by the collection and can own up to 6 spacecraft. A freighter is unnecessary. However, the method of being unable to start the spacecraft is maintained. There is no fuel. It is out of order. What I mean is that when there is a problem with the current spaceship, another spaceship can not be called.
If there is no problem with the current spaceship, you can also call a broken spaceship. But note that it will change to the current spaceship of calling.
If a broken spaceship is already being called somewhere, you can not call it elsewhere.
Restarting the game with Save and Load will resolve the non-current spaceships return.

After all, having a freighter is simple and easy to understand. Your collection will line up on the hanger of the freighter . Let's go straight to the freighter when you purchase the abandoned ship. There should be abandoned ships that should have been on the ground there.

I know a thing, not sure it could be considered an exploit, but I'm only going to use it in extreme circumstances, but you could save and load the save so all except your main ship despawn, and you can summon it once before you have to repeat the process

Thanks for the hint, mate.
But you also see the problem is already 3 years old ;D
Meanwhile i get it fixed and i don't even remember how, finally.
