Similar to harvesting the whispering eggs.
Since then I make a point of harvesting them whenever I see them, hoping that those killer fish will spawn again so that I can see if I can find a way to defeat them. But they haven't been making their presence felt. I should mention that I play in normal mode.
My next idea is: if the fish cannot see you directly, then it will not spawn, I will check that and try to place me accordingly before picking the cores.
SO true...
Position your sub as closely to the alluringly speicies as possible. Position your self so you can see the alluringly speicies and your sub. Pick a core. If the fish spawns jump in yo your sub and kill the fish with your mining beam.
