Better angle for mining laser on Roamer and Colossus.
Both exocrafts, Roamer and Colossus, are quite useful for mining resources and now even deposits, especially with extreme weather around. But both suffer from a bad angle for their turret, something not the case for Nomad and Pilgrim; the latter two have ample leeway to collect resources in almost all positions after they were upgraded.

What follows is a needless hassle, given that Roamer and Colossus are already rivaling with themselves, where one has to choose whether they like more space or maneuverability; currently people have to use Pilgrim or Nomad too for mining as they have a far better angle for their turrets enabling them to mine every deposit at almost every angle whereas Roamer and Colossus are quickly in a position where they do no longer reach the resources in question with their turret.

Addition: Pilgrim and Nomad have only trouble reaching resources overhead.

I would suggest giving the exocrafts an ego aim mode for their turret with much leeway to mine deposits in addition to the normal mode to mine resources on the ride. This way one would prevent the exocraft model to block the vision of the player when mining a deposit.

If you dont mind mods (which i dont think you do) look for Xeno's better Exocraft Camera on nexus. I addressed that.

Now, would Hello Games make use of such a dedicated community by collaborating with modders to better fine tune the game play for all the different needs and likes and to let the details be enhanced by people who play the game themselves, it could all be a smoother experience.

Your changes are fantastic! Both, for exocraft camera and creature spawn rate and sight range. Easier to use and more alive now. That is something Hello Games could learn from and give credits to the respective modders.

Me too. It solves many issues I mentioned. Now, if only Hello Games would enable to allow the camera to move so much that you could also mine resources and deposits overhead, while the camera would stay over the vehicle when you look up and not move under the vehicle.

(With your mods one cannot look up much due to the increased field of view, and I assume nothing more is possible at the moment, which is also a feasible solution for the time being.)
