Whats the best way to find sac venom?

Are there certain planet types where is it more likley to be found? is it possible to scan planets for it from space? or can it be bought even maybe? please help, i need it to complete the scientist quest for base building.

Sac venom cant be scanned from space but you can grow it at your base, not sure if thats before or after the scientist quest.

Sac venom and other rare items dont always show up in the planet scan.

The sac venom recipe is also one of the first quest rewards the farmer gives you.

The easiest way is
1. Grow it at your base (from farmer quest)
2. Find korvak or vykeen controlled system then find trading post (the one that has lot of landing pads) at planet, then check the alien ship that landing there one by one until u find sac venom.

that's not true. you can sometimes scan a planet and get it as a result. same with vortex cubes, albumen pearls, etc... also, just because stuff shows up on a scan doesn't mean nothing else will be there.
