"Fuel Source"

I am being instructed to follow the automatic guidance system.

The system had found a "Fuel Source". When I take my ship there, it is a Gek monolith that asks me questions such as am I first or am I last.

The task is notmarked completed and it still says to find the fuel source in the lower right on my screen.

I am confused.....

Are you sure that you are in this place? Look around, maybe somewhere on the planet is another marker.

As you can see here, we have a monolith labeled as a "Fuel Source".

I went back out to space and the only orange exclamation mark marker was here.

I don't know much about it, but can you send me what choices you made here? Maybe it's because of choices?

what happened when you interacted with the monolith? i think i just did this but don't recall the details. I do recall finding a fuel source but just proceeded with the quest.

OK - The Monolith is named "Memoried of Azar-Apam"

WHen I intereact with it, it first asks:
"Is it Traveler? Is it Friend?"
You then have to select either Traveler or Friend

It then asks:
"Is it First? Is it Last?"
You then have to select either First or Last.

Then it asks:
"Has it seen the Chrimson Eye? Has the Crimson Eye seen it?"
You then can say eiter that you have seen the eye, the eye has seen you or Both

Then, no matter which answers I select, it now says:
"LIKELYHOOD OF ANOMOLY EXCEEDS SAFETY PARAMETERS // bREACH DETECTED"

"ALERT // ALERT //THE BOUNDARIES FALL , THE WALLS COLLAPSE. YUJR UNIVERSE AWAITS"

"FfIND US TRAVELER"

After all of that, my curent quest is still to find the fuel source.

OK, tried playing a new game, and this time, after answering "Traveler", First" & "Both", it gave me fuel cell and completed the quest.

Not sure whey that didnt work the first time.

You have to have an empty inventory slot or two available. (Yeah I know this is much later, but since I found this post, someone else might too, so I'm leaving an answer.)
