How do I find my first Atlas Interface?
I've had the quest for awhile and I can't seem to figure it out. I've jumped to a few star systems so far, I think five total. I remember getting the quest and saying I wanted to pursue Atlas. I've just been doing all my base and faction quests instead. Now that I'm wanting to do the Atlas series I am lost. I've tried googling but all the guides just assume that I have a waypoint in my galaxy menu but I don't. I can scroll through my various waypoints such as galactic core, free explore, and current mission but "Atlas station" shows up as NA and says there are none.

You do have a Waypoint, but you have to select it on the Galaxy map. Look up at the top of the screen, somewhere in the middle it'll say something like "Free Mode" (Probably not exactly that, but I can't rightly remember). There may (or may not) be some button prompts at either side of this (Again, not 100% sure without looking). But there ARE definate controls to change the waypoint marker. Mostly between Free, Custom, campaign and Atlas routes.

Yeah, and I've switched from Free Mode to Atlas Route but it says there is no route available. It's funny I was typing this and was about to alt tab in and get the exact quote it gives me, and I had just finished warping to a new sector. Turns out there's an anomoly here, I think it's an Atlas thing. But again I did do as you said and switched around the waypoint options and when I selected Atlas nothing came up. I have just been following the "Galactic Core" waypoint since then, and I think I just randomly happened upon what I need. I hope. lol.

Ask add the Space Anomaly to direct you to the next Atlas station.

If you find an anomaly nada will point the way.

Yeah cheers guys I'm all good now, found a random Anomaly and it led me to another. For whatever reason I was never led to the intial one though and only found it after fifteen + random jumps towards the galaxy core.

Yeah I just got to that part of the story today. It's not part of the "main" quest. If you were focused on the msq you probably missed it.
