How to remove cargo from exocraft ?

Hi there,

i just had a small annoying situation, since I can't find the solution I have to ask.

How can I remove Cargo from the exocraft inventory ? Is the only way doing so, by transfering it to the ship inventory, and from there to the suit inventory ?

Quite annoying... Buggy got stuck, I wanted it's ressource, but nooo, my ship is full (as always) and I can't extract from ship inventory because it's "out of range" (of course, when I'm on a buggy trip )....

Any feature / key I'm overlooking ?

Btw, @ HelloGames if you read that, please give the mining laser a angle that can go to a bigger height, and maybe a bit more range... due to these two factors, it's hard (if not impossible) to mine the top of ressource deposits.

exocraft cargo transfer is a pain away from the ship

You can't. Yes it's horrible. You can only send cargo to ship, not to suit.

If you press transfer button on any empty slot in inventory you can choose which resources to transfer. That way you can transfer directly from exocraft to suit.

Unfortunately, cargo from Exocraft does not show in the popup menu when trying to transfer this way.

You're right. There's no way of transfering from exocraft to suit. Something for the next patch, devs?

You can transfer from exocraft to suit, but there is a problem that masks this feature if you have too many items on your spacecraft.

Problem:

The tranfer menu is limited to scrolling more than two pages and spacecraft items are always shown first, hiding exocraft items because you are unable to scroll to them.

Details:

* Go to your suit inventory and press Y on a free slot to bring up the transfer menu.
* If you have NOTHING on your spacecraft, you will only see exocraft items and are able to transfer them.
* The more items you have on your spacecraft, the fewer items you'll be able to see in the transfer menu.
* Once the first two pages of the transfer menu show nothing but spacecraft items, no exocraft items will be seen when scrolling and nothing can be transferred if the spacecraft is out of range.

A nice usability feature for this would be to show items from the closest craft first. For example if spacecraft is further away than the exocraft, you have to scroll to see the spacecraft items, and vice versa.

Why don't you just move the stuck Exo? Press X..

They should put an option where you want to transfer those ressources, when pressing X on a ressource it should pop a window with two option, transfer to ship or transfer to exocraft, and vice versa.

You can easily mine the top of a deposit by jetpacking on top of it and work your way mining going down (and in circles) starting at your feet.. a way to making sure that you'll get everything from it.

You have to move back from exo eg. Select slot in your suit that will open your inventory screen from vehicles then select what you want to move.

The inventory system is real clunky, desperately needs updating.
