Let us at least paint our authenticated starships.

At first I was excited with ship customization, but painting only applies to new starships built from scratch. Why is not painting our authenticated ships an option?

We can paint all of our other vehicles, from mothership to exocraft. This restriction is not good imo, and makes the new customization starship feature useless for players like me, who have spent hundreds of hours hunting the perfect ship.

Make each paint cost 50k nanites or something, I don't care, but please let me paint my hard found starships already, I have spent 250 hours finding these ships, I'm done with ship hunting. This new ship customization did nothing for me.

I have to agree with this.

I was very disappointed that I could not repaint my explorer as it was the *only* one of my ships (aside from the reward ones) that is not black and red

You do get an option to paint your fabricated ship. It is pretty limited choices, but all the paint options available are pretty basic.

They're talking about ships that already exist. Not when you're creating a new one.
