Inactivity kick
Hello,

Would be cool if there was a timer that would kick/remove players from missions at the Nexus.

I often come across missions that I need to do, which have already been selected by some other person, only to see that said other person is standing around, afk or not initializing for other reasons.

So removing from queue after, say, 3 minutes of not launching the mission when accepting would help mission completion/rotation.

Thx

you can also disable multiplayer for that. I think they did add an inactivity kick in a recent patch.

No, they did not.

I mean, it takes like 5 minutes to skim through the last 10 patch notes on their website. Something you clearly didn't do.

Why would you post such nonsense? Just for the sake of posting?

I'd recommend you go back to using your save editor because that's more of your territory, as is visible from your hollow response.

Cheers

I do get a notification telling me to go to the mission area in 90 seconds or something. I was wondering what that was.

That is a countdown AFTER the mission has been initialized.

This has nothing to do with players occupying missions in the mission board but not initializing them. The count down is POST initialization, not PRE.

Why is that so hard to understand? Rhetoric question.

Just disable multiplayer and they disappear. That is what I do when trolls are camping the missions.

That is after the mission had been started. What the OP is talking about are players who select a mission but do not start if for some reason.

100% agree to this feature.

The problem is not everyone is just sitting there to be a troll. Some people are sitting there waiting for the party to fill up. I consider it wrong to kick someone from a matchmaking queue because they didn't find a match in time.

Regardless of reason, why can't another person join or start their own. It is poorly designed.

That is true.
