Faster mounts - riding animals

So beyond the novelty factor, there really isn't much point to riding animals. They're slow and cumbersome to control.

Now if they made them faster than walking/sprinting - for those times when you don't have the resources to put down an exocraft pad - it would be useful.

Also making them autopilot you to your tagged destination would be nice.

Not sure why you felt the need for a such prickly reply. It's hardly as if I'm stamping my foot and demanding they implement it now. It's a suggestion, which if you hadn't noticed, is what this subsection is for.

The trailer just showed some guys riding some really slow crabs. I want to see an alien slug/deer thing bucking & charging over the hills while I desperately hang on for dear life.
