if you do, small "industrial" lights (the ones with the grating) shoul work if placed on any prefab part.
other placements require supplying power. i can assure you the difference between powerd and unpowered lights is clearly visible.
The large ceiling lights have no power input option and I've been told don't need power (yet they give zero light). And yes the industrial lights do work with power, but as I said they're dim as all hell.
The interior flags don't require power (and the flags actually give off light)
Some source of actual light would be nice.
Obviously it should come with some hideously ugly wiring.
Yes, the lights we have are outrageously dim which makes no sense as my two simple and very old lamps can light up my room perfectly, meanwhile a 1x4 hall of mine with four of those standing lamps is darker than the bat cave. However, there is hope.
I found that using the Light Floors is the EASIEST way to illuminate a base. However, they are obnoxiously bright, might give you a headache, so I either do a Metal Floor, 2 flats of light floors and repeat, or in a space where that won't work, a metal floor, 4 flats of light floors, and interchange the rows so it's not just straight lines of light. This will illuminate very well if not a headache causing or unaesthetic method.
However, those small, industrial looking lights and the lamp light produce a lot of light when grouped together, and does a good job of making the walls look less bear or adding decoration to your desk.
I agree though that the flood lights and standing lamps need more light. I know they're called decorations, but it would be very nice to ACTUALLY see your base even at night.
You're +1 on a 4 year old thread implies that light fixtures placed when making a base STILL don't actually emit any light xD (I've not played the game in at least 2 years)
Let us control the light intensity please.
