Game keeps freezing

Game keeps freezing - happened over last 4 days now, one day particularly bad with 6 times over the day's gameplay. NMS error message "The game has encountered an error and will now shutdown." Reference: 134078_0x4393646874624_ST76561198883822666.

iMac Retina 5K, 2020 - Processor 3.8GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7. Graphics AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8 GB. Memory 40 GB 2667 MHz DDR4. OS is Sequoia 15.1.1

Yes. Maddening, since Worlds I was released. Mac OS or Windows, both crash with the same or similar token. Windows performance is much better than Mac OS. iMac 18,3; 2017.

Thank you for the support, I hope HG can help, about to start today's gameplay, will see how it goes, froze 3 times yesterday.

Still freezing during gameplay, initial freeze within 3 minutes of play starting, then at least twice more during gameplay. There is no other discernible pattern.

Looks like I am getting something very similar. I have very different hardware. I just posted my own thread, not sure how well it increases visibility or if we should merge the bug reports somehow. In any case that's very frustrating, I just decided to have a go at NMS and I cannot get it to work. I kind of expected it to be rock solid after all this time.

Sorry to hear you are having problems, my issue hasn't happened since the small update (last week), but I had also read in another forum discussion to use default settings only on NMS for display and graphics, so I had applied this advice at about the same time. Hope you get it sorted because this game is amazing!

Ok, totally hexed myself, just done it again, had over an hour play and then frozen screen, whirling mouse pointer and only way to exit is forced quit. Exact same error code already reported directly to Hello Games: 138157_0x3202350242_ST76561198883822666

Hi please report your issue to Hello Games - directly submit a request via their website. I was advised to do so and I think the more of us who do the quicker a resolution.

I've been seeing these frequent crashes as well. I've opened a ticket with Hello with bug reports and video clips.
