Sentinel Bug - MAJOR
I fight the sentinels to 5 stars and destroy all of them but no 2-legged walker drops and the stars never go away unless I wander away from the area. If I wander away it says "Sentinels Searching" until all the stars disappear and they deactivate. Please fix this, it prevents turning all the stars white on a planet or harvesting brains. I've tested this on multiple planets, it's the same thing every time.

The more reports they receive about this problem, the sooner HG will patch it.

Posted, thanks for the link.
I've heard they already patched this? Maybe it was in experimental.

It's not pached yet, I have exactly the same problem in non-experimental.

I'm on experimental and the walkers have been appearing normally for the last couple of days (though they hadn't been before that). I assumed it was fixed in the last experimental update?

Edit: There's no mention of it in the latest patch notes though.

in my first sentinel fight since the major update, I got a walker, but the only others I did (which were all grouped together on the same session and same planet) did not have any spawn. I'm guessing this bug might trigger after some unknown event (like the snapping bug, but IDK if rebooting NMS would help here too).

Yeah, two fights today - one where the walker appeared and the other where it didn't. Like you say, there must be something which triggers the bug under most, but not all, circumstances. Hopefully HG will figure it out soon.

i managed to force spawn the walker today by switching back and forth from my ship to ground but its not reliable.
