Hmm. I'll try that, thanks. If I can't place a Signal Booster, I'm kinda bricked on this new save I started last week as you need Artemis Path done to even think about the new content lol
Probably some intermittent issue hopefully they get it soon.
Also at a raid mission after a couple of waves of flying teapots it says "Sentinels searching" and I can't see any. No more sentinels - no indicators. Even the wave indicator drops from four to two dots.
This update seems seriously broken after just an hour of play.

Quite likely, what fixed it for you was the act of closing the game and re-opening it to perform the fix in the link.
Not saying it is a bad thing to do what's in the link, but it's probably incidental.
I myself never used NGX and have personally observed how closing the game and reopening it fixes the problem, at least for placing exocraft and portable machines.
I couldn't build at any point since the update, so many days and many restarts of the program. Also never used NGX, it was installed automatically, i didn't even know it existed until i looked.
Huh. I was misunderstanding what "NGX" was myself, until I looked it up just now.
I was assuming that "NGX" was the "Nvidia Game Experience" which is that stupid bloatware they try to ship with your graphics driver that you have to manually tell it NOT to install that likes to automatically screw with your graphics settings even when you don't ask it to.
But apparently it's some kind of AI BS?
Oi.
I'm going to assume that my card (a 3050) is too old to run that, and so it's disabled by default? That or my graphics drivers (which I only update when I *NEED* to) simply don't have NGX because it's a new thing?
It doesn't cause issues for some people. The easiest way to check is just to go to the folder location and see if it's there. no-one chose to install it and it installed without doing a driver update. You wouldn't know if you have it unless you go look at that location.
