Infinite Ship Salvage

So here I am, minding my own business summoning a crashed ship that I repaired in order to salvage it on a space station. I then try to summon my main ship and notice that I can summon the salvaged ship again. So I think it's a bug and click summon and here it is. I salvage it again to see how far this will go. Okay so only twice. Must have been a glitch.

Few weeks later while ship hunting I notice I can summon that salvaged ship again. Okay, I can use a few million units, why not? Oh look, I can summon it again. Okay, again only twice. What happens if I get into my ship and save and try again? Oh look, I can summon the salvaged ship again. Twice. Save, load, summon, salvage, summon, salvage, save, load, etc. I noticed this bug in error and have now salvaged the same ship 10+ times to see if it is repeatable and I can say for certain that it is. For reference I have my main ship I use for everything and no other ships. I'm ship hunting for more and can keep summoning this ship at every space station I go to after a fresh load into the game. I'm going to delete all of this stuff and move forward with my life, but I'm certain this is not supposed to be happening.

Update:

I wanted to exploit this bug to see what I could do with it. It's absolutely insane how easy to exploit this is. I will try to duplicate it on another account but so far this is what I have.

Step 1: Salvage extra ship.
Step 2: Before the main ship spawns in, use the quick menu to summon your main ship.
Step 3: Summon your extra ship back.
Step 4: Salvage extra ship.
Repeat infinitely
