See how beautiful NMS oceans used to look?
EXTREMELY bothersome indeed.
Can't believe it's been going ignored/unnoticed for so long. As I said, I stopped playing the game for this bug alone.
As far as an immersion breaker it goes on pair with planet atmosphere showing through asteroids, for which I had already stopped playing until it was finally fixed, which took them almost a year.
And now this graphical disgrace with water.
true, but such noticeable graphic issues in a game all about landing on planets should be absolute priority for them to fix. this has been around for over six months iirc.
oh, and I agree with ninienielniels regarding the planetary rings.
they look screwed up but somewhat more tolerable than this horrendous non-existent water horizon bug.
can't believe water appearance took such a steep way down.
it looked so pretty when the game first came out.
sad memories : (
At least, after 8 months, someone at HG could have taken a couple minutes to really look into this eyesore of a visual anomaly and revert it. It really does stick out like a sore thumb whenever you look at an ocean in NMS. If they can release multiple major updates since Beyond, to add more toys and fluff to the game, I don't understand why they couldn't have taken a moment to fix this horrendous bug.
neither do I.
