Exchange freighter bug

I encountered an issue where the game doesn’t allow the purchase or exchange of a new "Freighter" ship. Upon clicking the "Exchange" button, a "Quit to Desktop" prompt pops up and gets stuck in the middle of the screen, rendering me unable to proceed with any action, resulting in the inability to purchase the ship.
I've attempted this with various Freighter ships in different locations, yet the same error persists consistently. :(

Edit: I should point out, rebooting the game doesn't fix it either. It's really frustrating.

And another one: Standing at the bridge of my potential new S-class freighter, and "Exchange" asks me to "Quit to desktop?" (which does nothing btw, but I can still back out with rmb)

Please note: if you have any mods installed on PC, please try uninstalling them and reinstalling the game, as mods are known to potentially cause a lot of conflicts with the game, especially after a recent update.

Please also check you have the latest graphics drivers installed as this can often resolve some issues.

We won't always reply back to bug reports unless we feel there's further information we need. Rest assured though that this information will be extremely helpful in allowing us to understand current issues which should be fixed in coming patches.
