Scrap dealer not buying Crew Manifest or Captain Log

Anyone had this happen? I go straight to the in-system space station, but he doesn't offer to buy the stuff. The envoy isn't interested, either. Thanks.

Did you finish the derelict? I normally get an icon to proceed to the station to complete the mission. (by doing one of the options) I am not sure what happens if you don't actually complete the derelict- get the notification there is nothing more to do here and exit the derelict. I know some folks "run" derelicts for other goodies and don't actually care about "completing" it.

As always, verify you have it active in your log. The game auto-switching your current mission is a common reason why things don't seem to be working.

I did finish the freighter. I got the message to take my findings to a space station. I went directly to the in-system station, but there's nothing in my mission log for it, no symbol over the scrap dealer or the envoy, and neither one mentions the items. I am beginning to think that if you miss one set of logs/manifests, you can never do any more.

I just had this happen today. The mission half-finished or something - I think the freighter still had the mission icon on it despite being "done".

Tied to go back from the station, but the freighter no longer shows on "radar" or just looking around. I think I'm stuck with the 500 credits apiece for the log and manifest now. Grrr.

You might at least get the option to sell them to the scrap merchant at the next station you visit? Or maybe just save/reload and see what happens?
