Sounds Cuts Out Every 3 Seconds Or So
the sound cuts out every freaking 3 seconds and ruins the whole experience....

-- Tried 3 different audio sources, tried reinstalling the game AND the audio drivers. And its the only thing on my Elite Gaming Computer that doesn't work, this mf game

I have solid FPS KINDA!! When it doesn't cut out. Still hear skype calls and music from Pandora when it cuts out on game. SO its clientbased or just the game IDEK

Hello, I had the same problem and found an article that solved the problem. Open a command prompt with admin rights and type the following:

net localgroup Administrators /add localservice

The original article that explains their problem solved with this is at:

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-most-frustrating-windows-7-audio-problem-solved/

I searched all day and starting looking for sound problems with solid PCs and no hardware issues. One strange thing I noticed while in Sound sources in the Control Panel is that the HDMI source on my TV was blinking in and out with no notification of anything wrong, the time interval it was blinking in and out matched the sound cutting in and out on the game. This same source was also blinking on and off in the Radeon settings: preferences, other settings, default sound device.

Hope this helps some of you out there at least.

Me neither
Insane Dane, have you fixed your problem yet? My sound is still messed up.

i fixed my problem. i changed where my headphones where plugged into. they used to be plugged into my keyboard but i noticed in sound that there was a headphones symbol that would pop in and out. when i plugged my headphones into somewhere else it stopped and said enabled. now my sound isn't cutting in and out anymore

Here is a solution for that worked for my buddy having the same issue:
Go to Windows updates, choose "optional updates and drivers"
Install ALL of them.
It will work, I promise.

That is because you are now using a different sound source...
