Input Lag
I sporadically get a massive amount of input lag. Pressing a key will do nothing for a couple of seconds and then it will act like I have the key held down long after I let go of the key. This happens with every input type: keyboard buttons, mouse clicks, mouse movements.

This made the game incredibly frustrating, until I got in a ship. Inside of a ship it takes the tiniest input and continues with that input for 5-10 seconds.

Same, but with controller. It completely disappears when you get off planet, in space or in stations though. As soon as you get close to a planet, there it is again.

Seems to me to coincide with stutters.

I've had a few spasms on the edges of cliffs, right scary.

I have the same issue here...
I've managed to fix it by changing NMS.exe priority to normal in Task Manager (it is Above Normal by default)...
If I set it to anything higher than normal, I get periodical stutters and unresponsive input...

Changing process priority to normal has fixed many of my problems.

Thanks Elliot the Cougar.

Can confirm it fixed for me too.

I just logged in to say THANK YOU. For some reason in addition to mouse input lag this has also fixed my fps issues. You are a godsend sir.

I doubt anyone will check this discussion after this long but I’m having a similar but slightly different issue. The input isn’t laggy in the same way y’all are describing it. It’s just always about half a second behind. I tried every priority option and restarted the game each time with no change. It’s just always a half second behind with my keyboard/mouse and controller. Any ideas?

It’s been only a few minutes since I last commented. I found on Reddit that if you turn of v-sync it would fix the issue and that worked for me
