awakenings bug?

so i'm trying to do that awakenings mission building first base and I ran into a snag. I built the base computer no problem, then it says put wooden floor foundation, did that no problem. After that, says build 3 wooden walls, so i do that, problem. The quest doesn't register i placed the walls and doesn't advance, so now i'm stuck..

With all types of missions: they must be *re-activated* in your mission log after you move your avatar to other locations, after using teleporter, after using your ship landing somewhere else. If you don't re-activate you cannot go on with them.

Everytime you see that the mission doesn't advance: re-activate it.

how do you reactivate them then?

nope doesn't seem to be able to do that. Its like the very first mission, maybe story missions don't allow that? Seems i'm sol on this one. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ glitch

Hit P to go to the mission log, and select the mission you want active. Only 1 mission can be active.
Then, you can also create mission to appear in the log by going in the Game Guide and 'pin the formula' for something.

Been awhile, not sure if you found a solution or gave up. I ran into this issue myself, today. My problem came from a mod, Fantasy mod compilation. Had to turn off the "New Gameplay Deployable Geobay" portion of the mod, as it edits the wooden structures. Somehow that prevented the quest from registering the placing of walls. Maybe that was your issue too, that is if you are playing with that mod.

I now recall that there is precisely this problem with the Base Computer and the Blueprint Analyzer (another portable item). The problem went away in my game by doing as above, I went in the mission log with P , I searched Awakenings and clicked on it to re-activate. Then I was able to advance.
