Base Building walls glitched

I have been experiencing this glitch with walls where, seemingly dependent on the snap points or where you're looking, the wall properties don't place with the wall. So you can walk through it, it won't offer hazardous environment protection when a room is closed off, and it can't be edited or deleted unless you delete the whole base using the terminal. Was wondering if anyone else had this experience because I've tried looking it up and can't find anything. I'm about to submit a bug ticket but if anyone has a solution I'm all ears.

Here's a quick clip I made demonstrating it. I originally assumed the first wall would be broken but it wasn't. Later I figured it was dependent on the snap points or just where you're looking.

I experienced the same. Saving, closing the game and reloading fixed it in all instances so far for me.

Yeah, seeing lots of people report this. I've experienced it as well with the stone walls. Sentinels were able to fly right through as well and began attacking me in base.

I don't think it matter which type of wall... for me, it was alloy walls

Same - build a 2 story tall botanical garden to account for tree height surrounded by glass walls and ceiling. On a toxic planet and haz suit depletes inside th building.

Has anyone experienced where you want to place the round windowed stone wall on the second floor of your build and it changes to the angled (pentagon shaped) window wall piece that we don't even have ( I purchased all building pieces day one of Frontiers)? AND it is upside down!

And there are no power connection points on the wall pieces.

And the Stone door/window wall piece, the door is stuck half closed and no way to power it to get it open.

This didn't happen before version 3.6.3. I build a lot but was able to reproduce the problem very quickly in the latest version.

Yeah I've tried that a few times with no success. Verified integrity of game files too just in case.

There's more to it than this. I built a simple 3x3 Wooden building and not only were some of the walls walkthrough but I could not not walk through my doorway, even after deleting it. Invisible walls!

I had this same issue while playing in Expedition mode for the first time last night. I'm gonna see if restarting/reloading the save fixes it. I'll post an update here if I have any success.

I bought THE game some days ago and was so disappointed because of the bug. So it is because of the last update? Permanent restarts don't add any fun. Because I got stuck in the base building step, it's terrible when I can walk through walls.

Yeah i just bought it recently because I used to play on ps4 when it released. Ever since they updated the game to make it better I've been wanting it on PC, and now I can't even build a base :(

Glad it is not just me. I was so confused. Thought I was doing something wrong. I hope that they fix this soon.
