Seek Knowledge of the Past from alien artifacts and ruins not working

Whenever i click on 'seek knowledge of the past' to locate one of those buried caches from the alien artifacts and ruins, it doesnt do anything. I click on it and nothing pops up whatsoever, really infuriating. Is this happening to anyone else? Did anyone find a fix? Thanks.

It just marks a dig site location icon. You have to travel there and dig it up...not really exciting stuff. It is no different then when you find one on your own. Get the three keys and dig up the strong box.
