Can't change terrain manipulator mode anymore

I'm playing on PC. I used to be able to change the terrain manipulator mode from mine to create to flatten, etc. by pressing mouse button 3. Now I can't change the mode anymore. I tried different multi-tools and tried remapping the key mapping to something else. I can switch secondary weapons with M3 for all other weapons. Has anyone else had this issue?

You must have mapping conflicts. Instead of searching for long simply delete the config file, it will be re-written at game start with default values.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and this fixed it.

Good, but next time make a Integrity File check in Steam before reinstalling...It's much faster to resolve file problems.

I have the same problem, but only when i try to change the mode INSIDE my base.

Need to go outside, change mode, then return inside.

same issue here. out of a sudden I can no longer rotate through all modes. file check does not show any faulty files. rotating the secondary features of the other weapons still works. time to clean my rl spaceship and dowload this game again in the meantime...

looks like its some controller / steam controller settings issue. after reinstall the official "steam deck no man's sky controller setup" disappeared. I switched to community settings, that worked once, and stuck to that setting. after restart of my device i could pick the official binding preset again, the terrain manipulator is still bugged.. :/

time to give this game a break. looks like a lot of binding builds are broken atm..

I was having this problem on my steam deck yesterday I hope that patch fixes my problem also. I will find out tonight when I get home. Assuming I can tear away from diablo long enough to check lol.
