Units Went Negative
After a little grinding I made it to 2.14b units and the number went negative.

I understand that it's due to the fact that a signed 32bit int can only hold a value of 2.1b before overflowing into the negatives. I wish I would have known that earlier.
Not sure what to do now.
I'm playing on PC with no mods.

I know it's not the right answer, but you can use Rax' NMSSE to set your credits below that mark, like a billion or so. Use at your own risk and be sure to back up your save first.

Maybe earn 5 million credits to take the neg. value to less than 2.14b? Might "flip" again?

Any credits I earn now just take me closer to zero. Just like paying back a loan. I am broke and can't buy anything.

A little grinding?! I coudln't imagine how long it would have taken you to accumulate that many units. My farm earns me roughly $12 Million per hour when I'm working at it... that would take me roughly 178 hours of solid farming to gain that many units.

I did mostly all of it farming pearls on my freighter. Much of it AFK.

YES! My game went from 2.4b negative to 2.4b positive as it should be. Thank you HG!
Edit: It was one of the fixes in 1.37
