Abandoned starship infinite buy bug

I found a crashed starship on a planet, and I repaired it and went to a space station to get some stuff. I decided to exchange the crashed ship for another ship, but for some reason I can re-obtain the crashed ship.

I can continue doing this and getting new ships for pretty much free. It kind of seems like a big bug especially if you're early into the game and already have 5 ships.

You can only have one ship as your main ship, and you can only store "extra" ones on a freighter, that you can switch between. You still can't sell your ships, afaik, only trade with a (small) discount for better/bigger ships, or for "free" if you trade in smaller or equal worth ships. You don't have a freigher early in game, do you? I'm guesing you have one main ship, and 4 abandoned ships on that space station, and the abandoned ones will disappear when you leave the space station and redock...unless there's a glitch, ofc. Seems to be quite a few of those these days :P

What? You can own multiple ships, but only have one primary ship selected, and you don't need to store them on a freighter. I have a primary ship and 4 other ships I can summon to use as a new primary ship. The issue was that I was still able to buy the abandoned ship for free, and then exchange for another ship continously that would've cost me money otherwise. It is a glitch, that's why I posted this in bug reporting...

I just found this bug as well. Early game, still have starter starship, and go to abandoned starship. It is much more valuable than my starship so I add it to my collection. Then I flew it to the nearest spacestation so I could exchange it for something that didn't need lots of repairing. I did the exchange, and the starship I just gave away was still there, shown as abandoned. So I looked, and I could buy it for free again.

This is repeatable, just exchange the ship again and again. Now I have 5 ships, and because they ship I found was so valuable, they didn't cost me anything.

I had to reload the game and they have all spawned in my freighter now as well, which was convenient.

Ah, sorry...i think i misunderstood you then. English is not my main language :) You're right...and i see that we can buy additional ships anywhere now, not just on the freighter.
