[BUG] Items Stuck in Storage Containers
Today I tried to get my microprocessors out of storage and they are stuck there and won't go into my inventory. It is in the storage container 0.
Everything else in the container comes out fine but the processors.
I tried reloading the game but that didn't work.

I don't get why we can't move Items in the storage the same as inventory. Is it really that difficult to make them act the same? Why do I have to move items to my exosuit then to storage and back to exosuit to organize the storage? That has zero logic. I should be able to right click on an item to move it to either exosuit>storage or storage>exosuit OR Left click to pick the item up and drag it to where I want it to be placed.

It's simple inventory logic.

"EDIT" Now other items are stuck... I was trying to remove other items or placed an item next to the processors and then they were permanently stuck. I don't get why the inventory system in this game is such crap. You seriously need to fire the person who did it.

Other Items stuck in Container 1 also now... Herox in slot 3 of container 1, Aronium in slot 5 in container 1

Don't think the item matters it's just the slot.

- - x - x
x x - - -
x - x x -

X= Stuck Slot Both Containers 0 and 1 but probably all containers.. I just currently have the 2 down

So guess I'm done playing till this is fixed because no sense collecting anything because I have nowhere to store it.

Do you have a armorer guy in your base? I know this sounds silly but inspect the free multitool he offers. The last time I had this bug doing the above fixed it.

For some reason the UI of the free multitool interferes with the UI of the base containers.

Failing that, you can bypass the container UI entirely. Mouse over a suit or ship slot and press X, this allows you to pull stuff from other inventories, base containers included, and put it directly in the slot.

Nope, I have a 1 square wood shack, 0 and 1 storage containers, 2 solar panels, 1 battery and a portal.

I have a harder time getting stuff out of storage after I have been playing for a while. If I Save and reload a session, then I can get stuff out of storage.

This needs to be fixed, please!

When you attempt to remove the stuck items, do you get a message that "This technology is critically damaged"?

no it just won't come out of the storage... I saw this issue awhile ago and stuff was duping when I would stick stuff in storage then try to remove it, it would stay in the storage then dupe items into inventory.
Now it just seems the duping is gone and the stuck in storage part is still there.
Had this a few times.
Able to fix temporarily by logging out to desktop and reloading.
Still reoccurring.

This is driving me crazy, too. The "this technology is critically damaged" thing flashes when I try to remove items.

Also, I've noticed that the storage module has a power icon where the attachment to the battery is. There's loads of power in the system, the teleporter and everything works, but the storage setup is unhappy. Reconnecting the power changes nothing.

It seems to me that NMS has a lot of weirdly cross-linked variables, as though it randomly assigns variable names and sometimes mistakenly duplicates those names. I've noticed that 'stuck' items in storage often seem linked to damaged ship, suit or multitool technologies. I've also seen this sort of behaviour pop up when using station portals, which occasionally brings up a fleet management window.
