I can't buy new frigates

I posted this in the general discussion but figured I'd put it here as a bug: I can't buy any new frigates. I have 8 currently so I'm far from the cap of 30, and I can't buy them in any system. I have 4 command rooms because I heard you need one for every 5 frigates and I've also tried flying up to unmarked frigates without a green icon because apparently sometimes people can buy those if they can't buy the green icon one.

I have no clue what to do, I finally got a new freighter and wanted to get some new frigates so I had a massive fleet but it's not appearing to happen. Pretty frustrating.

The command rooms are necessary for frigate missions, not for buying frigates.
The way it should go for buying is: frigates on sale have a green icon over them and if you go near them (but very close, make sure of it), then you get a message that you need to respond in the Quickmenu and eventually you can buy the frigate.

Some players have reported to be able to buy frigates which don't have a green icon over them, and not be able to buy such ones with a green icon. In both cases this is a BUG.

In conclusion, there is a bug with frigate icons.

This was my case. Most of the frigates i got had no icon, i just got used to visually identify them and fly near see if they hailed. Some would occasionally have icon, but just a few.

I can't buy frigates without icons or with them, I've also heard it takes up to 30 seconds for them to respond sometimes so I've literally flown up right next to both icon and non-icon frigates and sat there and watched a video on my other monitor for a minute to see if they let me buy them. I can't interact with any frigates at all.

All you can do is: go near frigates and see if the message triggers, if not, fly away and try with other frigates, but it's cumbersome without icons guiding you.

Yeah I flew around for about an hour only going from frigate to frigate (icon or no) and intermittenly in my gameplay I've also flown over to check frigates whenever I see an NPC fleet warp in. It's been like a week now and I haven't been able to buy any frigates from upwards of 40-50 fleets that I've checked. Hopefully they fix it.
