Locate buried treasure missions bugged?
I picked up a few of these missions. It gives you data to an ancient plaque or whatever, where you can get information about the past (forget how its phrased exactly), which takes you to an ancient ruin (the ones with the keys and chests). Get three keys and open the main chest, but the mission doesn't show as complete.

The description od the mission says to:
- Locate dig site
- Clues to the wherabouts of dig sites can be found at other historical ruins
- Provide alien artifacts to access ancient ruins.

All I can think is that I'm doing something wrong when I get to the ancient ruin? The keys aren't exactly "alien artifacts". I'm stumped.

Edit: After I got the treasure I reactivated the mission and it turns out I wasn't done! There was another stop in a galaxy many stops away. Bleh. Bit much for a few nanites.

I believe this bug is still around, I took a few of Locate dig site missions and it's now bugged and cannot be completed.

I believe those particular missions are system dependent. You can't just pick up a bunch and do them whenever. They seem to work for me but I always do them as soon as I get the mission.

This is old but still comes up as a search result...so, the Bug is still present, although I figured out the solution thinking about it long and hard. When you collect the ancient data at a dig site your quest log will trigger whatever dig site quest you never completed in the past.
If you want to correct it, get rid of all old dig quests and try again. Also, if you're trying this after you already dug it up at the current location, you'll have to find another dig site using a map so you can trigger the next step of the quest.
I have my sanity back now.
