Blue-Screen on launch
Hi, I have been unable to launch NMS without triggering a blue-screen and PC shutdown. This is a pretty hard crash and takes me around 5 minutes to relaunch the PC and get back into steam. Anybody know a fix. I believe it could be my second monitor causing the issue because it flashes moments before the crash. I will leave a comment if that's the case. Thanks!

I was correct. If anybody is having issues like this then just completley unplug your second monitor untill they patch this bug.

The same happened to me on start-up... Have you experienced any further crashes after unplugging the second monitor?

I had this bad crash with the bluescreen and error "bad pool caller" and I only have a single monitor plugged in

It's the bs with new driver requirement. For me, choosing "clean install" on nvidia drivers at least fixed that problem.

After unplugging the monitor everything worked okay for me. Although the game now runs at 8 fps at least I can still run it without crashing everything I am gonna wait to play it until they improve performance. If the monitor was not the issue for you try running the game in windowed mode.

I don't know what this new requirement is, I have latest drivers 431.60, what else do I need?

Thanks once again for your information. Since unplugging the second screen the game is running fine for me (I got a blue screen after ending the first play session, too, but I guess that was because I didn't restart the PC after disconnecting the cable).
My question now is: Have you (or anyone else who experienced this problem at first) tried running the game with both monitors connected after the recent bugfixes?

Tried it myself and the bug is still there. The moment I plugged the second screen in and started the game it went to the blue screen crash with the following message PAGE FAULT IN A NONPAGED AREA (nvlddmkm.sys) and proceeded to restart my PC.
