I'd be thankful if you could inform me on how to let the devs know.
One way is to go to the actual wiring item, in the Technology > Industrial > Power area. If I select wiring this way, I cannot see any connection points on older things, like you guys are talking about..
However there is another way: hold the button for Delete, then press right, and now you can select the wiring option in here. When I do it this way, then I can usually see the hidden connection points.
However there are some things where the connection point disappears forever anytime you leave draw distance, in particular, the Short-Range Teleporter's secondary connector (which is used to connect the wire that carries the teleportation signal). That sucks because you have to leave draw distance to go make the other teleporter somewhere else. Then you have no way to actually connect them together.
Bizarrely though even if not connected together, they still work. However this bug prevents you from having multiple teleporters, since the game just randomly picks which one to go to when you step inside one of them.
This game is sadly, still several weeks away from being usable.
Your not the only one.
I have a room full of wired up batteries that I cannot rewire. All the "ports" the wiring will not connect to...its just a green ball for an icon...it wont snap or connect. This is also happening in 2 other areas...with solar panels...and with other random junction points I made while extending wiring. Im basically stuck until theres a fix.
Same here, proposed solution doesn't work. So my base remains without power until I can actually wire it back up again, sigh....
