Build Beacon Quest Broken

So my scientist told me to go build a beacon. 4 beacons, 2 planets, one scientist relocation (moved it from my freighter to a planet base) and several restarts later it still doesn't recognise that I've done the mission, the option "I've built a beacon" is greyed out.

I had that, I built the beacon right next to my planetary base, and turned the quest in on the freighter.

I had same issue.. built the beacon next to my home base and it worked.

This seems to be the solution. If you get closer to your base, you can see a glowing circle on the ground (only visible from inside the circle). I assume your beacon has to be built inside this circle for it to be recognized.

Im stuck here as well. Yet I don't even have the beacon blueprint and my Construction Gek wants Insulating Gel. 0_o
