storage container bug?

So I have built a storage container on my planet base but and put some resources in there. Strangely though, some resources it won't give back out. I can transfer platinum etc to my hearts content, but the half stack of Antrium that I have in there won't budge, which sucks for when I want to make cells in my inventory - I effectively don't have the resources cos they're in my container!

The spadonium that I have in there is stuck too. Maybe this is a bug with exotic resources? Anyone else found this?

Just noticed, I have a stack of platinum in there that won't move too, it's all the stuff on the bottom row that I can't transfer out, the stuff on top row works fine

Yep, save your game and reload. May help.
Also a big problem with frreigher's container - when I try to get stuff out of there I somehow take off parts of my sute Oo

I'm having a similar glitch on PS4, this is the only thread I could find, except mine won't let me transfer out anything from the top left hand spot from any of my 5 containers.
It says under the option to transfer that it is trying to transfer from my Exo Suit to my ship as opposed to the other slots that say from storage to (suit).

I believe this occurred around the same time my jet pack somehow ended up in my ship's inventory.

funnily enough my inventory has been okay today, I still think there's a glitch here though, albeit an intermittent one. I've found this with a few other things too

I had the same problem. My JetPack got deleted from ExoSuit and somehow found its way into my Ship Inventory, where it is stuck.

I didn't recognize the problem soon enough and had already gone beyond several saves, so I'm stuck with this until I can find a crashed ship to try to transfer inventory to. If that doesn't work I'll have to abandon my ship and move to a new one. That'll probably leave the buggy inventory record behind.

I have this same problem. I built my first storage container and 2 items are stuck in there, one of those green crystal things and an atlas orb. What's strange is if i have a full suit inventory and try to transfer them, i'll automatically transfer 2 items from my suit inventory into my ship inventory and leave blank spaces in my suit where those items used to be, but the items in storage remain. If i clear my suit inventory and try to get the items out of storage, then it just makes a noise and doesn't do anything.

Also, if the devs are reading this: It really makes no sense that i can somehow hold more items on my person than a giant container that's only purpose is to store items can hold. It's a giant box and i can fit 5 things into it.

The entire storage system needs to be reworked because the stacking system doesn't make sense. A single item fills an entire slot, so if i have 1 carbon, it fills the full slot, so even though i can take another 499 carbon in my ship, i can't take a single unit of anything else because i no longer have any slots left.

So, for a game all about resource gathering (Since, that's really what the game revoles around, whether you intended that or not.) it has a really terrible inventory management system.

I found a work around for base/freighter inventory glitch. Use the transfer function on an empty slot in ur inventory instead of directly moving it. Seems putting stuff in the storage box is not a problem just removing it. This also works in the base inventory when ur supplies transfer to the new base and items seem to be stuck.

@orthodoxguy1971 Excellent, that worked for me thank you! I hadn't even considered using the transfer menu option and was getting tired of having to reload each time it glitched out, which is quite frequently for me.

Help! I have a base on a planet and built it up to like 90 something percent. then built my storage containers on my ship... all my containers vanished!

That doesnt always work. I have had that problem happen to me too, I have almost 600 units of iron I couldnt use at all. Thanks devs...

I just encountered this issue as well, but i don't think its tied to the actual slots, but instead the storage container. It seems my storage containers built in earlier days work fine, but only one slot works in the one i built today...

Yep... I've gotten the bug several times now. Different slot each time, but it's the same slot in all my storage containers. This last time it was the lower left slot. Time before that it was the upper right. Simply saving and restarting the game has worked to clear it up so far. Which makes it tougher on the devs to find the bug, I'm sure. Harder to find a bug that's not easily replicated.

Same problem here, built 4 storage containers by my base and can't get some things out. Hope this gets fixed soon! Exiting and restarting fixed it this time.

Have You guys tried clicking transfer button (X) on empty slot in your exosuit inventory. It opens menu with all you have in your storage, and then you can move it to your exosuit.
