Game saves lost | Spielstände weg

Hey,

since saturday noon all my game saves are gone. In the morning I could still play, in the afternoon there was nothing left. Until yesterday, I looked again and again to see if the synchronization reconstructed the game saves, unfortunately negative.

Based on a tip, I created a multiplayer game, but that did not lead to success.

How do I get my game saves (including two PermaDeath!) again, does anyone know?

seit Samstag mittag sind meine ganzen Spielstände weg. Vormittags konnte ich noch spielen, nachmittags war nichts mehr da. Bis gestern immer wieder mal geschaut, ob die Synchronisation die Spielstände wieder rekonstruierte, leider negativ.

Aufgrund eines Tipps einen Multiplayer Spielstand angelegt, aber auch das führte nicht zum Erfolg.

Wie bekomme ich nun meine Spielstände (u. a. zwei PermaDeath!) wieder, weiss das jemand?

Lesson learned: Steam Cloud is unreliable and it's known to lose saved games so do your own regular backups. If you had backups, you'd simply restore your save game files from backup:
C:\Users\Zak\AppData\Roaming\HelloGames\NMS

Right now your only hope is that some of your saved games survived in Steam Cloud:

Edit: Ignore the DDS and cache files, you need the ones with word "save" in them ending with .hg. Also grab the accountdata.hg file, it has your expedition rewards and stuff.

Then I don't need the Steam Cloud sync anymore if it's unreliable anyway.
