No audio all of a sudden
Decided to boot the game up and there's no sound. I have the latest drivers, I've checked the audio output and it is my headphones, I tried reinstalling the game as well as verifying file integrity and I also have no mods. My specs are an intel i7-11700KF with an rtx 3060. Any ideas?

The game's sounds are controlled by the Windows Volume Control.
Start the game, go back to Windows, open Settings.
Select System, > Sound, > Volume Control.
There, check what the settings are for NMS, what volume is set and which devices are used, and adjust if anything was set incorrectly.
Go back to the game and see if it works, or not.

No idea why it worked but I just changed the output device from default to my headphones and it just started working. Weird because this only happened with NMS and no other app.
