Hi there and thanks for the response, sorry to hear you have the same issue but at least i know I'm not alone !
No I'm afraid nothing has worked, even a complete removal of all NMS and Steam files from my system and starting a fresh save didn't work. I've actually pretty much given up playing for now because it bugged me so much, which is a little sad really.
I posted about the issue on another thread in the general discussion section a few months back, and several other Mac users responded who were afflicted with the same issue too. It just seems to be on M series Apple Silicon Macs.
I've submitted many detailed bug reports, updates, system logs and screenshots etc over the months since Worlds Pt 1 launched via the official zendesk helpdesk system, but with no result so far, so unfortunately I don't really know how to progress the issue.
it's a bit disheartening I'm afraid, but all the best :)
I tried installing it just to see, but was disappointed to see this bug still persists. Looks like lots of new wonderful content in the new update though.
Might try another Zendesk submission, as it's been a while since I've last nagged them with it, one can hope it's on the bug-fix list :)
Logged in today, 10 February and creatures are now animating correctly, looking all round and doing what critters do.
What a relief, thank you Hello Games !
