Game freezing then crashing after trying to load in
Hey guys, my game keeps crashing after trying to load in to my save, ive reinstalled NMS itself, updated all my drivers, deleted the shadercache in the files many times and nothing is working.
Heres my specs:

OS: Windows 10 Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045
CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x 12 Core
Memory: 32GB RAM
GPU:NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti

Ive seen this problem a lot online so i thought i'd ask here if any of you experienced this and maybe even solved it for themselves.
So, does anyone know mre tricks to fix this?
Thanks in advance

do you have any mods installed ?
if yes... remove them and try starting the game, if that works then you have outdated mods and need to get updated versions of the outdated ones

Nope, no mods installed...

You may have a look into your windows Event Viewer for more Info about that crash.
WIN+X will open that windows list, there start the Event Viewer and
expand Windows Logs and look under Application for warnings with a timestamp of that crash.

Copy&Paste the details here, so we can check it

If this one shows only AppHang with unknown Reason, check the Events below of this one

Reinstalled and verified the game files several times, yes.

ive had this problem for about a week now and ive already submitted about 5 tickets through Zendesk

If you've already submitted "about 5" tickets that were clear, concise, courteous & completely outlined the issue, directly to the developers of the game, I can't imagine what additional help you're expecting to get from here.

I just wanna play the game faster and the devs are taking their time to respond, which i understand of course
Just thought since this seems to be a pretty common issue the community might help me out

yeah, unfortunately you could be waiting a while to get a response... took them a couple months to get back to me earlier this year...

Hopefully Musashi or the like can help you when/if they see this.

Musashi is my last hope for sure :steamsad:

What leads you to believe this is a common issue? (It's not)
Rekrah Ttocs Dec 18, 2024 @ 10:06am
NMS worked great for 2 weeks then started crashing. Sometimes won't open at all, sometimes shuts down and restarts PC, sometimes runs for a few minutes then just stops responding. Have new recently built PC. Intel i9-14900k processor, 128GB DDR5 memory, Nvidia RTX-4070 graphics card, Win10 latest updates. There should be no issue with running the program with the system I just built. Nothing changed from first 2 weeks of playing. Have tried all of the suggestions, reinstalling NMS, deleting shader cache, deleting other suggested files, to blocking program from Windows Defender and Malwarebytes. After a week of trying different options, nothing solves the problem, sometimes makes it worse. Have sent issue to zendesk along with tokens and dump files. Any new suggestions would be welcome. Tired of try to fix this.

I don't use reddit & there's been next to no posts here about it. I get that you're frustrated, but, pretending it's a common issue doesn't make it so. I'll just add you to my blocked list so you can whine on in peace.
