These are my settings, i dont use NV Experience. I use the Nvidia Inspector for changes manually since years.

Nvidia Inspector or Nvidia Profile Inspector? I had a problem with another game recently, Satisfactory, also with Frame Generation and even DLSS not working, and I suspected it was because I used Nvidia Profile Inspector to tweak some game profile settings. I used it for years too but it has not been updated in over a year (March 2023 to be exact) and NVIDIA drivers have changed quite a lot in a year, and it seems abandoned as the dev isn't responding to anything on Github.
I've done a clean driver reinstall and never used Nvidia Profile Inspector again and DLSS and Frame Generation work since then. I have no proof as I didn't care to dig deeper into this, just a suspicion, it could be just a coincidence, by perhaps it's worth looking into it.
BTW, I have a 13900K and RTX4080 (566.03), Windows 11 and FG works for me in NMS.
Also when low latency mode is on i get only 75 fps.
I play with DLAA and solid 110fps also in my big base.
Can you pls share your Nvidia Profile Inspector settings.
Maybe this is a problem at my side.
Just saying that maybe Nvidia Profile Inspector messed up the NMS profile? You can try resetting the NMS profile, though that didn't work for with Satisfactory. I had to do a clean reinstall of NVIDIA driver and then all was good, but I have not used Nvidia Profile Inspector ever since.
So ridiculous. My Rig is not able to get FG to work on NMS....
Ok it is how it is and i am lucky to have 110fps in all scenarios lol.
It works fine on my 4090/7800x3d build. If it's failing, this points likely to a driver issue. I'd recommend trying a reset of the NMS Nvidia Profile from Nvidia control panel (not NvInspector) first, and if that fails, you'll want to do a clean install of Nvidia drivers which will reset all game settings. Also make sure that you're running the latest version of Windows 11 and DX12 drivers, as these are needed for DLSS3 to work correctly in all games.
If you're still running on Windows 10, note that the latest GPU/API feature such as RTX and frame gen are not always fully supported on Win10, as a lot of the newer features have been locked behind 11. If that's the case, I'd highly recommend you upgrade to 11 -- I had a ton of weird, similar issues getting RTX and frame gen working while I was still on Win10, and haven't had a single issue since migrating to Win11 across a wide array of games.
Some areas negligible with 10fps improvement some like at my settlement a lot better. But Framegen Off gpu use is low. With it on gpu use goes up so it better get more fps.

Or as below DLSS Framegen On was a loss in fps.
